I still need help in posting pics, but here is my latest try. The first two pics should be at the end.
I am adding sheet metal to the roof.
This is a dedication service for the completion of the pastors house. The erecting of the structure takes about 8 hours from beginning to end.
This is a structure that had been built within the last 3 years. We build the frame with rebar and the roof with sheet metal for about 2500 dollars. The local congregation then takes ownership and finishes it. It becomes their church. They take much better care of it when they complete it themselves.
This is a pastors house that was torn down the day before we arrived. The floor is somewhat still intact.
Holes are dug about five feet deep, and a concrete rebar footer is placed to support the structure.
The framework is bolted together and erected with many hands.
This is a Guatemalan concrete mixer.
